This is Ocupeye

Ocupeye, is the technology that provides a step change for patients requiring a prosthetic eye. Custom built software coupled with Casia 2’s high-resolution colour sensor and diagnostic images provides the necessary and complex information to construct a unique 3D prosthetic. The patient has a fast, pain free, comfortable experience, whilst ensuring an efficient workflow for doctors, ocularists, hospitals and clinics. Ocupeye, uses technology with the patient well-being at it’s heart.

To achieve the technology solution TOMEY and Ocupeye collaborated with the prestigious Fraunhofer IGD Institute, Darmstadt, Moorfields Eye Hospital London and specialist additive manufacturer FIT AG Prototyping in Lupburg. apEye offers a unique 3D eye prosthetic that combines challenging technical solutions with the most advanced scientific findings. The results are impressive.
